colinf Posted August 15, 2012 Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 With the 191 rebuild coming on slowly i've been out practicing with my nephew on his '97 Gas Gas ( JTX250 Contact ).We were speculating how much harder things might seem on the Sherpa and we were trying to work out how much heavier the sherpa is than the Gas Gas....so the question is what does a '77 191 Sherpa weigh in pretty standard trim ( ally tank,plastic mudguards ) ? It's not so much the weight though but more the length, steering, shocks and engine response or rather lack of that will make all the difference. The weight is the least matter for comparing.
