October 24, 201213 yr Author Well TNT found the stator, it's had the rewind and guess what it still won't start not even a splutter... I've tried another coil but no joy, does anybody know if you can still get the little black box?
February 9, 201412 yr Author Wow, I didn't realise it was that long ago I had these problems. I replaced the black box, new from gas gas, and it still didn't start. So what else could it be? Compression good, fuel good, spark good.... Then a chat with a friend over a couple of beers... And have you changed the reeds? No... So a quick trip to gas gas new reeds and a rebuild later and it runs...... Looking at the reeds side by side the old ones are slightly curled and have the centre venturi missing. So a big thanks to all that offered advice and if anybody has any problems don't call me.... No drop me a line it could save you time and money....
