Been looking for a service Manual but can only find one for up to 2009 model... I'm wanting to know how much gear oil and what type.... shercoben12 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 the engine on the 2012 bike is almost the same as older years except for a few different internal things. you should put 450mls of gear oil in but thats if its completely empty (dry) i used to put 400mls in my sherco and never had any problems. i used this oil http://www.splatshop.co.uk/gro-gear-extrem-75w.html it is not the cheapest but i found it eliminated any clutch drag and lasted a very long time between changes. this will also be fine http://www.splatshop.co.uk/putoline-light-gear-oil-1ltr.html but it wont be as good quality as the gro oil (in my opinion) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
