Went to my local garage today and the guy behind the counter recommended draining the carb after each trial. Sounds like good advice in case there's water inside but how do I go about doing it? I've got a sherco 290 2006.

I think it's less for water and more for the possible effect of the ethanol content of the petrol.

big cap on the bottom of float bowl about 17mm
