2011 Beta Evo 4T Cyclinder Head Gaskets

Featured Replies

I just picked up a used 2011 Beta 300 Evo 4t. Bike runs great, starts easy, no smoke and runs clean. When the bike sits for a few day I notice a bit of weeping oil (?) around the base and cylinder head gasket. It is not a lot, very minor.

Is this normal or should it stay completely dry?

Thanks

Tom

I think you need to re-torque the cylinder head bolts. A slight weepage is normal after some time and re-torquing all part of a good maintenance regime for 4T's.

Thanks, any idea of what the torque specs are?
