I have been reading this forums, and tried to do a serch but have not found much on the Ossa R. Then I was told that Ossa only built about 100 bikes total, so is there anybody that has ridden both bikes. I know its a long shot, but I just thought I would ask.

Only 100 of the 300? Possibly considering its a fairly new model. But I'm sure the total production is much higher than that.

I haven't ridden the 300 but I have the 280 and there's very little difference between it and the Gasser. Both are excellent bikes. Buy the one whose looks you prefer

I was referring to the ossa 300 "R" model or the race replica that they only made a 100 or so. I have Ohlins on my MX bike and the suspension is amazing, so I am leaning to the Ossa 300 R, but I have always wanted a Gas Gas. Whats the reseller market like for the Ossa? I will say when I told a couple people I was thinking about selling my Beta, more than one said they would buy it.

Gasser gets my vote at this time, depreciation severe on ossas

I have a 300i, I traded up from a 280i, I am not a fantastic rider by any means but .....holy crap what a great bike!

I got a great trade price but I think in Canada used prices are higher generally because there are just fewer bikes available, not sure what the used situation is like in oz.
