Techno 250 Fan Speed

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased my first trials bike. It is a 1995 Beta Techno 250.

I was curious about how the fan is supposed to behave. When the fan turns on, it currently varies speed based on the engine RPM. Is that the expected behavior or should it be a single regulated speed?

    I had this on my techno. Had to buy a new rectifier from Lampkins. Now the the goes full speed. Even on tickover. Call lampkins they are really helpful.
