Scorpa Rear Shock Question

Featured Replies

Hi Ya'll, I have a 2008 Scorpa sy250r and I have killed my rear shock. My apologies if this topic is duplicated howeverI cant find the first one I wrote. My rear shock basically grenaded and is totally unusable. The shock shaft came off the piston while I was riding and then under compression hit the side of the piston turning it sideways in the shock body bending the shock shaft and damaging both the piston and shock body. basically the only useable parts are the spring and mounting hardware. Does anyone on here know where to find a used shock? I have checked with scorpa and these shocks are way out of my price range, and an Ohlins equivalent is astronomical in price(like $1200) and completely out of the question. At this point I would even settle for just spare parts.

Thanks in advance

Try someone like Lewisport, I seem to recall they sell TRP shocks that may be suitable, or may be able to offer a solution

Well, I know you are in the states. Go under your member and add location, you will get more help that way. You might try works performance shocks. Have you tried Mike at the Tryals shop in NY?
