December 15, 201312 yr I'm new to Plymouth and don't have any contacts or locations to take my twin shock Trials bike, if anyone can help it would be appreciated. I don't mind travelling or paying to use land. Sean
December 15, 201312 yr Next Sunday, West of England mcc are holding a trial at hound Tor nr widecombe in the moor, set out for all ability levels, it's a great venu.
December 15, 201312 yr Author Thanks I will be going as a spectator next Sunday and will sign up to the club. I'll take my bike and hopefully be able to get some practice in.
December 15, 201312 yr If you sign up and you have a licence jump in and have a ride, you will love the ground, don't go away kicking yourself for not riding.
December 15, 201312 yr Author I've not got a licence, only got the bike last month and only ridden it twice on waste land. The bike is more than capable (it's just been totally re-built) of doing Trials it's me that needs fine tuning, i've had bikes for 35yrs but brand new to Trials.
December 15, 201312 yr Brilliant, welcome to the most enjoyable, addictive sport, once you start it will become all consuming.
December 15, 201312 yr You had better make contact with the club, as you may not be able to ride (practice) unless you sign up for a licence on the day, just so you don't drag your bike up for no reason!
December 18, 201312 yr google bikersrest .com for a practise ground £5 a day, something there for everyone to ride
December 23, 201312 yr Dropdownagear did you get up to Hound Tor? Just checked out the website, think you were caught on camera! Or at least it looks like your bike in your profile pic. Edited December 23, 201312 yr by jfc
