May 5, 201412 yr i have bought a beta techno 250 recently and noticed the fan does not work. i have put a 12v battery to the fan ,and it spins over nicely i have tried bypassing the temp sensor and still does not work. any ideas? thanks
May 6, 201412 yr Not sure how you've bypassed the temp sensor, have you checked that there is voltage at the wires you have bypassed it with?
May 6, 201412 yr All you have to do is put the 2 wires together that go to thermostat and fan will run constant or get a switch on the bars like i have done easy simple option
May 6, 201412 yr Used to have a 98 techno and had similar issue. If after bypassing the thermostat the fan still doesn't work then your fan regulator will likely be the culprit. It's a small black box mounted under the seat as I remember. Goes without saying but check for loose interconnecting cables before replacing the regulator.
