I am in Courtenay and travel to Port Alberni and Campbell river for work often. 28 years on bikes but only two of those now discovering the dirt. Great fun and only had to be rescued from the hills twice. In those two years I have moved from xt250 to ktm640adventure to my current te449 trying to figure out what actually works for me. Have loved them all. Now I think it is time to add a trials bike. Always intrigued by them but thought it was for either athletes or old British Gentlemen. I have the old now, and the British, just missing the athlete and gentleman bits. Will be keeping my te449 as I use it to go between campuses for work, as much of it off road as possible, which is actually pretty manageable living mid Vancouver island. If I am getting a trials bike I want to actually connect with some others in the area that do the same though. Great site btw.
