August 5, 200521 yr Just viewed ,and Raga puts on a display at what looked like the Gas Gas Chrissy party. Does a demo hopping from rock to rock without letting front wheel come down, impressive !!!! Then does exactly the same with front end of bike removed. Worth getting ,just for this display. Beyond belief.

August 5, 200521 yr The French guy is Julien Dupont, total nutter and when I saw him perform earlier this year he,s an accident waiting to happen! Still would any of us be willing to try it?

August 5, 200521 yr Author It`s definately Julien,that does the backflip. Saw him do it a couple of times, at the Swiss world round last year. Set up on a cobble stone street in the middle of town, and let loose.
August 6, 200521 yr In this month's TBM there's an interview with Art Coutard who, along with Julian Dupont, is apparently at the forefront of "freestyle trials". There's some pics of him on a Scorpa at an indoor skate park doing wall rides and grinds etc. as well as some huge outdoor FMX-style jumps. Does this mean an influx of the "tattoos and pierced nipples" brigade into trials? There goes the neighbourhood...

August 9, 200521 yr Howard You could be right......it could be Dupont.......although after seeing Raga do the no forks nothing would suprise me!!! PA Not sure the tattoos and piercings are in anymore in FMX. Seems the boys there are making good money now and the new crop of riders are a bit tamer!! They are doing their practice jums into foam pits now so they don't get hurt! Sorry to hear about the Team Wombat dental problem.....must be tough when you all just eat n leaves This guy Dupont rocks I want him for a birthday party!!!!
August 9, 200521 yr r2w That's nothin, one of our Aussie riders (well known in UK) tried to audition for the latest "George of the Jungle" movie mid section at the last Aus Titles (unfortunately captured on film too). The rider was last seen clinging to a tree about 4' off the ground claiming he hadn't 5'd because the bike cleared the section and his feet weren't touching the ground! Think his Beta must have watched the beta version of earlier "Balancing Act" vids. BJdownunder
