Hi,

Can anyone recommend someone to rebuild my 1985 Rtl engine ?

I'm looking for a complete strip down, new bearings, piston , valve seals , engine casings blasted and re painted, etc. I only want genuine Honda parts used if they're availiable.

I'm in South Yorks.

If you don't mind travelling, Derek, Edmondson Racing. Rebuilding using all Honda parts may be very difficult, if not impossible though.

Colin at TY Offroad has rebuilt a good number of TLR and RTL engines

Trying to find genuine Honda parts I can imagine to be nearly impossible.

Also prepare yourself for a huge amount to spend.

Good luck though - keep us updated as would be a good guide if I ever need to do mine.

I'll have a chat with both of these .

I appreciate some parts may not still be available, just looking to use genuine spares where I can. Not sure wether to do a complete restoration, or just an engine rebuild and ride it.
