June 1, 201511 yr I'm fairly certain Al the Spanner used to do it on new bikes as part of the PDI when White Bros were one of the UK's largest Trials dealers. Sadly now defunct.

June 2, 201511 yr years back I bought a Yamaha mono that had a lighter than std throttle, the previous owner had ground the spring down on a grinder reducing the diameter of the wire a bit. worked well.

June 3, 201511 yr If your throttle is heavy get married, You will be surprised how strong your right arm soon gets after a short while!!!
