September 2, 201510 yr Author Shorts.........that's the solution. comfortable, flexible, cool. I have a pair of camo cargo shorts and a pair of MX pants that the legs zip off to become shorts. Trials boots cover the shins so there is just a bit of skin exposed between top of boots and the shorts. It also helps that I wear a knee brace for arthritis on the exhaust side. It works for me, not for everybody. But I am not quite right in the head. Zippy I still laugh at that post when you wrote how the hairy legs drive the ladies wild. That was some funny stuff.

September 18, 201510 yr Answer Syncron MX pants seem to work well enough for me - tough enough for prickly stuff, keeps the skin intact on rocks or gravel. I don't wear knee guards and they seem a bit of a better fit around the knee compared to other MX pants.
