just about to buy a new bike and i cant decide which one!!. tryed gasser and its very flickable but dont know if the beta is a better bike.

if you are an expert i reccomend a gaser because they are very lite and powerful. but if you are a clubman and want a smooth ride and a reliable bike then go with the beta.

Gasser for me , look at the results, the 125 GG is the best, reliable and cheap to run. Had 2 125's, on our 7th now (06 250)

cheers and i do the expert course so it looks like its going to be the 06 125.

any one got any good tuning tips or ideas coz i was thinking of a high compression head and a kehin. any one got any sproket recomendations etc..

I think the 06 comes with the right sprokets on.

Alexz was on a 9 46 set up most of the year I think which he has gone up maybe to a 48 if I'm right. Think this makes the 2nd gear more usable and not so prone to bogging down. Keihin is a must apparently.

i tried a kehin on my 125 and it made the bottom end flat so i took it off. i run a 9-48 on my bike and it does make 2nd gear much more usable. also i reccomend that you put a thinner base gasket on the bike if you want more bottom end power.

Yep keihin better at top, but jetted right should be as good as a dellorto, low down 46 115?

There is a total lack of tuning information available over here. I going to regear my sons bike right away.

What are you running for jetting with a Dellorto carb?

Are you useing stock reeds or Boysen?

HAd Alex Wigg at the YG Club trial today. I was told he is running 9 front and 46 rear in green of course!!

So a Kelhin Carb seems to be the way to go. The problem is whats with taking it down from 28mm to 27 or even 26mm???? Is this a sleeve or what?

how about putting a powernow in the Keihn, that carb came stock on kx80"s. The Powernow should increase the air velocity at smaller throttle openings.
