Can anyone confirm that the original engine in a Seeley is based on the XL185?

If so do most parts fit, clutch, bearings, seals etc.

    Yes the Seeley Honda 200 used the 1979 XL185 engine.

    The carb and intake manifold and header pipe are TL125 1973-1976.

    Some parts will be the same but the crank, some of the gears

    , flywheel, cylinder- bored to 66mm, the outer cases are also slightly different as is the left crankcase and the gear change shaft.
