The packing you have removed acts as a silencer, so you need to repack with new packing. Before re-packing, blow a heat gun through the exhaust for a few minutes, it will heat up and burn off the oil.
-
Mr Gollner got the measurements right!
-
If this second spike carries on, none of us will be out there!
-
I still use mine regularly, although it has grown up into a 250.
-
You do notice a difference.
-
Quite a few of us coming over to ride at the weekend. Looking forward to it!
-
Do you have the Beta twist grip or Domino? I had problems when I fitted a slow action to mine.
-
How did you get on Steve? You looked to be doing ok from what I saw. Didn't get a chance to say hello but hope to see you at the next one as well!
-
Welcome Steve, nice easy Scunthorpe club trial at Whitton on Sunday! Jump in at the deep end, go on you know you want to.
-
Just measured mine, 15mm.
-
Two different types of front wheels in the 200's. I will measure mine tomorrow. Can you slide the spindle and wheel sideways in the fork clamps to centre it?
-
Has anyone tried the 223cc mod on a Cota 200?
Fit a 247 piston in a 200 barrel = 223cc.
-
Don't do 2t, I like the engine braking of the 4t.
-
I have a 2016 and it is the best bike I have ever ridden!
-
My poor running same as yours was fixed with half a turn on the fuel screw. Anti clock to ritchen.
-
I have a IRC tubeless on my 16 Evo 4t and it is great. No problems at all and much better than the Michelin it had on before!
-
The 250 has the rear sprocket bolted directly to the hub!
Seems to work ok.
-
Turned the mixture screw out half a turn.
-
Well at least you will have no trouble adjusting the pilot mixture in future. I made a tool to do this as mine suffered from the dreaded backfire on over run, now spot on.
-
I think you will find it is a fuel screw not air. What is the problem? How did it run before?
-
Just got a 2016 300 4t. The wiring to the CDI and regulator look a bit exposed, should the connectors be protected / sealed etc.
-
Can anyone tell me how much 'Static sag' (bike weight only) I should have front and rear. Evo 300 2016.
-
Easy to check, remove one of the shocks, remove the spring and test for damping each way up.
Some work both ways and some models don't.
-
Its all in your head. If you think your bike has good grip then you don't need new tyres.
I turn and replace regularly, because I think I need to.
Having the correct pressures is far more important!
-
Can anyone confirm that the original engine in a Seeley is based on the XL185?
If so do most parts fit, clutch, bearings, seals etc.
