Following On From Sherpa Advice.

Had a good run around a friends field today. Need to get a little practice as I've only ridden off road twice before as a solo rider. I do some sidecar trials in the chair of a 1950 Norton 500T but like the idea of having a go myself hence the Sherpa Purchase.

It's now running nicely thanks to the new carb but is a little reluctant to start so I'm giving everything the once over as I'm booked on to the Launceston testing trial on Sun 7th Aug.

Our first foray was Aug last year some of which you can see here,

I have discovered a leak in the fuel tank around the front mounting point. Any advice on sealing this? I will take the tap off and clean it while I'm at it.

Also the spark seems a little erratic(has new plug) so how can I test to see the cause?

This could also be down to not owning a kick start bike since an MZ many, many years ago and not having"the knack".

Thanks for looking.

Phenomenal service from In Motion https://www.inmotiontrials.com/

Ordered just before 5pm yesterday and they arrived about 1/2 hour ago.

Now, the flywheel looks rusty and possibly a little scored. Can I clean this up? also can the magnets mounted on the plate be "dressed" a little?

Cheers

Neil

Yes, and you have a recent Email on this subject.
