October 22, 20169 yr Author Thanks all, I suspect I've a Montesa/Honda bias because of past bike ownership but nothing relevant to a modern ish trials bike. I think I'm going to take the general advice of all of the above and look for a decent bike locally hopefully through a club member etc and keep some cash back for bearings etc. Cheers Graham

Big and heavy but great when running well. Now needs a bottom end rebuild and cosmetics for the rest of the bike, so I breathed and bought a Beta Rev3 250, it's a 2008 model. June 20, 20179 yr I would suggest a properly sorted and running well 315 almost as good as most 2008 bikes.
