Im Rebuilding a black engine Beamish Suzuki and i was trying to work out the best way to clean up the fork legs, has any one got any tips please on the best way to clean them so the look a bit better ?

 

The legs are generally clear coated which needs removing fully if you want to make them look better so it's not really just a cleaning thing

As stated covered in lacquer from new, best option use paint stripper to remove said lacquer and use Peek metal polish to restore then rely on polish from then on.
