this is my old ty175 that ive just bought without the petrol tank and mudguards and side pannels

Looking good! One of my favorite parts of building the ty was using a wire brush attatchment on the end of an electric drill to grind off the paint (and surface rust in spots, and then spray paint it with a few good coats of higheat black paint (flat black ). And taking off the heatshield, masking over the original 175 sticker and then repainting mine white. When it dried, I took off the masking tape covering the sticker and it looked like it had never been painted, but was just brand new. Turned out great, just trying to give an idea as to what you could start with if you wanted a fun little project hehe
