February 14, 200620 yr I've notice that my throttle cable is chaffing on the lower yoke of my 04SY,is this common?, & what the best way to reroute the cable? I notice on full lock it sometimes catches on the yoke along with the clutch cable etc: although secondhand i'm sure the cable routing is standared. Any advice appreciated, before I wrap said cables in something more substantial!!
February 19, 200620 yr Try some heatshrink sleeving on the cable, or some technosel on the yokes, not ideal, but will stop them from marking
February 19, 200620 yr Sorry I've took my time to respond to this one Austini. No, this is not common and it shouldn't happen. I can't look at my bike to tell you the right way as I'm working away from home but I'm sure someone can help?
