September 30, 20214 yr i bought today some jitsie knee and shin guards , does anyone else use similar things to stop basing your knees on rocks ?
October 1, 20214 yr I use fox guards I think they're for dh Mountain biking superb. I'm 58 and just down want any bother with the knees. Cheers.

October 1, 20214 yr I use the Jitsie Dynamic knee/shin guards and tested them for real. So good I invested in the elbow guards aswell. 👍
October 1, 20214 yr In the US most everyone wears knee/ shin guards mostly of the MX type. I don't find them confining. I once cracked the hard plastic on the outside of the knee guard so am certain it saved me from a nasty injury.

So good I invested in the elbow guards aswell. 👍 they are the ones i have just bought they said they are like a big sock that you just pull over your knees which will be handy, and i hope you didn't bash your knees too much (what did you hit a tree or a rock ?)

October 2, 20214 yr Did you get the Jitsie ones? When they warm and mould themselves to you they will soften up and you hardly know they're there. I have landed on rocks and they worked brilliantly. Edited October 2, 20214 yr by richt

I have landed on rocks and they worked brilliantly. yes i bought the jitsie's im quite pleased with them and they are light, i just need to fork out for the expensive part now (the bike) and a helmet and then im all set to go trialling 😊

October 3, 20214 yr I've had an Airoh for a few years and recently got another while it was on offer. There are a few more to choose from now more manufacturers are making similar designs like Mots and Hebo. The shape of the Airoh fits me a bit better.
