February 22, 200620 yr hi i have had an 06 gasser 250 for about 4-5 months now and ever since i bought it it had a slow puncture, i have recently had the tyre off on a few occasions to clean it out etc and put it back on and popped it onto its bead, after doing this the tyre still goes down between the rim and tyre. any help would be appreciated as i am now stuck for ideas coxy
February 22, 200620 yr Have you tried inflating it up to about 20 psi and then coating it with soapy water to see where the air's escaping from?
February 22, 200620 yr Pump it up, get it in the bath, then mark the rim where the air is escaping. Get the tyre off and have a good look at the rim. You sure it's not through the spokes, that's the most common problem. If it does turn out to be that have a search, there have been plenty of discussions on that.
February 22, 200620 yr Author yeh done thats its leaking between the rim and the tyre in about two places but no mata wot i do i cant stop it from leaking

February 22, 200620 yr if your really stupid (sure your not ) pump it up to about 30-40 psi (take it to a tyre shop and put it in their cage) and it will bead properly If it still leeks a new anodized talon rim is what id suggest
February 22, 200620 yr Author ma mate did it (pumped it up) for me nd his dad sed it wer beaded properly then nd i aint really got the sorta money for a new rear wheel wot bout tryin a different tyre as i have another in the garage?

February 22, 200620 yr Really unusual, unless there's some muck in between tyre and rim. Anything on the rim? Any marks, dints? I would try some wet and dry on the inside of the rim before you do anything more drastic.
