Rear Tail Light

Featured Replies

Greetings from Texas!

I just bought a 2017 Evo 2T 300. (Sold my last trials bike in 1985, a TY250). Learning to ride trials all over again!

My question is my bike has a functioning "headlight" but the tail light has no wiring harness or anything under the red tail light lens. I'm wondering whether the previous owner removed it or whether it never was hooked up from the factory.  Anyone know?

Thanks,

Roger

Hi,

Same bike as me - and I have no tail-light as well.

The wiring to the light runs on the underside of the rear mudguard (you may see the plastic clips/guides).

It's simply gets in the way when you're cleaning the bike, changing the air filter etc.

If you do want to re-install it's not expensive (bell wire, block connector, bulb and bulb holder), you will probably have an unconnected 2-pin female block connector on the frame near to your air-filter housing).

Thanks!  I thought that was the case that it was not installed.
