  1. Sorry also forgot to say I know attachment is for the SSDT not the Scott, but has some good pointers. Don't forget to "fuel" the rider too!
  2. Pete, Good luck first of all. Please see attached file - it's for Beta specific models, but there is some good advice for any participant. SSDT.pdf
  3. I'm not quite in your position as I have stickers coming off a 2017 Beta. But here's my logic. If you clear coat on top of the applied sticker, and in the future you scratch or damage the sticker, it will be a real pain to repair. I would rather remove the sticker then re-apply as required every few years, than go through the faff of getting the sticker off from under the clear coat, and redoing it all again. In effect have a sacrificial sticker, rather than repainting the tank.

    Rear Tail Light

Hi, Same bike as me - and I have no tail-light as well. The wiring to the light runs on the underside of the rear mudguard (you may see the plastic clips/guides). It's simply gets in the way when you're cleaning the bike, changing the air filter etc. If you do want to re-install it's not expensive (bell wire, block connector, bulb and bulb holder), you will probably have an unconnected 2-pin female block connector on the frame near to your air-filter housing).
  5. I have removed mine completely and replaced with the filter material you fit in cooker extractor hoods - i've also seen pond water filter material used. Cut out in to a triangle type shape - look at the SSDT mods from Beta Racing - and placed on the bike frame, so i place the bodywork down on to it. So no need for any glues, it's breathable, washable, cheap, and does pre-clean the air filter a bit.
