Angelwing Posted January 31, 2023 Report Share Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) Hiya, I have a 1997 250 Scorpa with a weak intermittent spark. From what can gather the stator on these motors is a weak point. I'm getting readings of 200ohm between the white wire and earth and 789ohm between the red wire and earth, trouble is I don't know what the readings are supposed to be. Anyroad, I sent the stator off to Westcountry Windings for testing, they passed it fit for service, so the readings I quoted are correct.
