March 23, 200620 yr Hello Triton, Okay that makes sense, Is the change to PVL noticeble and valuable, because I'm still pleased with the original set up, even with the distributor type I have on my Cub.
March 25, 200620 yr Author Hi Fast Ferry If your cub is running fine stick with it cos its expensive to modify. Mine was erratic at idle rpm and clean on pick up to high revs, now its very good. triton
March 26, 200620 yr Once i got mine running correctly, i had a keyway cut in the rotor- that way you can remove everything and know its going to go back in the right place.
April 5, 200620 yr to time my pvl on the cub i set tdc then set the rotor so that the little moulded mark on the rotors outer edge is at approx 5 oclock aligned with a small pimple on the stator plate technical but if yours looks like mine ( and they dont all) then youll know what im talking about..
