How much snow have they had round Castleton? Will it be gone by the weekend?

i live about 15 minutes drive from castleton and there was hardly any snow there at the weekend and it is absolutely p***ing down here now so i think it will most probably be gone by the weekend

i very much hope so its one of the best trials of the year my friend lives in commondale right near casleton he says it was just raining like mad today so i would of thought that the snow would of gone(we hope)do you have a early or late number?will andy be there taking photos?

Hi, scattering of snow around that area yesterday, but i believe they have had a lot more overnight that may take several days to clear, bitterly cold up there yesterday, wrap up warm.

Hope it's on, but bit early to say, weather forecast is snow showers all week, but lets keep our fingers crossed

I'm never going back to that Trial again! I went two years ago and wet? I was like a drowned rat.

Being serious, I'd love to go and it was in my plans to, but I've a server upgrade to do before the end of the month so that's going to take all my time.

I'm #101 this year, let's hope I can make it passed the lunch stop this year as the Gasser decided to do a Red Arrows on me last year.

Can somebody please confirm that the Cleveland will definitely be run tomorrow. I went to the Bemrose last week and it was cancelled - quite rightly - and went to Barrow for their re-run trial this afternoon and that wasn't on, so don't want to go all the way to Castleton and find it's off. Cheers, lads.
