In other words; let the rider ask for a 'five' and save everyone's time and effort.

    BUT IIRC John Collins did mention this at CofC seminar, if you were to force everyone to go through the "begins" gate to five the section - what happens when its a huge drop off that is the whole reason for not wanting to do the section in the first place ? - you defeat the purpose!
