April 18, 200620 yr Trial was a bit easier than last week! Maybe the first half could have been tougher but the second was about right. Dont know for definate but in the pub someone said Jack Fry was on 9 and Jenkins, Crinson, Jones were about a dozen or so was mentioned Have the club not got a web site?
April 18, 200620 yr james fry had 9 think it was 1 + 8 over 40 leader dave clinkcard had 35, 9 and 24 i had 16 or 18 (3 + 13-15) depending on whether the observer on the 2nd to last section was allowed to give me a five for footing more than three times!! sunter told me he had 25 on the second card , mostly for missing gates, not suprised with the speed he carries up the streams! April 18, 200620 yr Hmmmm....Got a 5 on the hillclimb???? Graded hill....that's pretty hard to do. Quite a few others got 5's too. I reckon I could have got my car past the 3 marker, wonder what happened there? Not that it makes much difference to my cricket score, but I would imagine the likes of John Crinson, who also looks like he managed to jam the brakes on just after the begins cards might be a bit miffed.
April 18, 200620 yr Definitely something wrong with that hill climb - I saw John Crinson pass through the ends at 60mph, possibly too fast for the observer to get his number - bet he's a bit upset
