2 hours ago2 hr Hello.Over 50 years ago I used to watch a guy wash off his montesa cota 247 and thought it was the prettiest bike I’d seen.I now have a 1971 mk cota which I want to rebuild to factory.However what I have is like triggers broom a mismatch of parts from various years and models so it could be a challenge.I’m hoping this resource might help me. 1 hour ago1 hr I would suggest moving the kick start lever back to the original vertical position.The moving of the lever more clockwise to give more purchase always ended in disaster as there is a stop built in to the kick start shaft which eventually punched a hole through the crankcase.
