sorry if this has already been covered, but I've been away!!

Saw a re-run of last weeks "Vroom Vroom" program, "Skys" attempt to emulate the success of Top Gear etc.

Anyway they had a small piece on trials riding, the usual half hearted, unresearched effort but with Dougie roped in and doing his best to explain the sport and help some dizzy-ass woman (no disrespect to ANY lady riders intended, but she was annoying) having a go at a "section".

Anyway was reasonably ok as it started off by showing some of the extreme world round stuff etc but went down hill rapidy as the narrator described that there were approx 30 clubs in the UK(!?), the cost of riding a trial is

Surely you are not suggesting that one of Rupert Murdochs companies has not researched something thoroughly before broadcasting???? Surely not

The whole show had its facts wrong pretty much, such as putting on the spoiler for more grip off the start in a drag race? Perhaps there was a strong head wind, but it was still on the back of a front wheel drive??????

Its no where near the quality of Top Gear!! did you see the first one! The renault espace convertible part was soooooo funny

Its a pathetic attempt at a copy.

However, i have started watching fifth gear which i like, because the presenters are quite good.

star in a reasonably priced car does it for me IMHO - I'm not celeb fan but IMHO its as funny as f***
