As a first time visitor to the P65 & SSDT which sections are the better ones to watch the action and whereabouts are they, what time do you need to be there, what are the must do things etc?
Thank you in advance.

if at first you have a five, try try & try again, then go home with a big score.

my best advice would be dont try and see every section, sit tight and watch the whole trial through and you'll see two sections a day dont try and 'do' more than 3
as for the p65 much is by the roadside on the south side of the loch all watchable if you fancy stretching your legs get up the mamore road and park in the hotel carpark for a quid or two and walk out to the sections ( about a mile) well worth the hike.
for the ssdt , there is a lot of traffic fill the car up as petrol stations are few and far between, plan each day for two or 3 sections ( it can take over an hour walking just to get to some sections from the road side)
importantly prepare for all extremmes of weather. when it rains you get wet when its hot the midges bite proper walking boots are essential, take a mat or somat to sit on take a drink take a rucksack take a camera.
We few .. We happy few...
