I dont think I have much choice but to go with MSM, for £214, but just feel a little ripped off, and to be honest more mad that insurance companies once again make very little sense to me, I really feel the insurance company always has the upper hand and as I have now found out it is costing more to cancel my insurance than let it run its course as I have sold my gasser, when I told the insurance company that forget it I will just let the standing order finish off the years payments, they told me that now I had told them I have sold it it was against the law for me to carry on insuring it, sometimes I just really want to put my hand down that telephone line and strangle someone, as like I said the insurance comapinies always seem to have the upper hand....
Three years ago I sold the 1000cc sports bike (not worth keeping for 600 miles a year.) I rang up to cancel the insurance on the big bike which was one of three I insured (road, enduro & trials) they said there was no refund and infact they needed a £25 admin fee to take it off my policy!
I must say I was not impressed and after a little discussion they did waive the fee.
