Chain Guide

I was riding along today along an old railway near where I live and could hear a clicking noise coming from the chain guide area, when I stopped the part that goes into the swinging arm had come out towards the tyre. When I got home I took the back wheel out and had a look, does the chain guide just push into the swinging arm as it does not have anything to hold it in?

I think may be a threaded hole in the swinging arm but they are prone to stripping, helicoiling is the usual repair. Certainly this was the case on Some Betas but I can't be sure of the exact models or dates

After looking at it again I think that there is a boss that was attached to the swinging arm that has come adrift, it doesn't look like it was welded very well and now it is still connected to the tensioner with the countersunk screw through the spring retainer. Does anyone have a photo of the tensioner off of their bike so I can see how it should be, I've tried the web but nothing.

Andy.
