Are you sitting comfortably.......... Twas the night before Christmas in a land with Big Hills and an abundance of Rain and Snow ..............Scotland. Andy and Higland Lassie (stay with me you lot this a story for all those that have got rambling thoughts about Andy and HL together????), travelled through the pass of Glencoe and stumbled on the ''Little town of....Fort William to bring to this world a great King. Looking for an Inn for the night, having tried the 'Ben Nevis Hotel' and the 'Alexander Hotel' they were left no option than to use the caravan in Park Ferme in the West End Car park ! Word got out that a great King would be born and animals gathered ''TC P…

We all love to hate them, but just out of interest, has anybody ever heard of them doing something usefull, like catching a car thief / vandal / bag snatcher. They're always there when you dont want them to be, so chances are, they must see alsorts of things !

Another E-Bay anomaly? Not sure if there is any deceit involved here but have a look at this Montesa '03 with '98 forks and front brake then a 2002 mudguard thrown in for confusion?!! Then have a look at the price..I admire their optimism. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/montesa-cota-315-tri...1QQcmdZViewItem[/url]

Right so its almost 4.45pm and unless you are a teacher you’ll already be at home feet up tea/ stiff drink in hand! So are we all hovering over our monitors ????♂️??attempting to look busy ???♀️and earnestly doing business only for it to come to a crashing halt at 4.59pm AND their off!!! Junior Boy is in the lead narrowly avoiding the bosses glare. BONG the clock strikes 5.00pm and closely following Junior Boy is Office Bore who passes on the stairway but slips on a damp patch....Rachel??!!! Seenu Before the new bloke jumps the stairs and is in the lead. This is hairy stuff, no protective gear whatsoever it could all end badly, especially if Rachel??... er hem has stop…

I find the current story in the media about John and Anne Darwin as the most interesting bit of news in a long time, especially at a time when the media is overwhelmed by celebs, Lady Di's death and the war on terror. Looks like good old greed got the better of them both. They already owned 12 properties in County Durham but that obviously wasn't enough. How on earth did he realistically think he was going to get away with it and his wife claiming they were going to pay the insurance company back the 295K they defrauded. And to return back to the UK claiming amnesia. Are these people for real?

Am I alone in being disappointed in the "premier" of this? Was out Monday night so only got round to watching it last night. Was really looking forward to it, but in my opinion they've tried to emulate Band of Brothers too much. BOB was groundbreaking television, despite its historical inaccuracies. Watched my BOB DVDs till I virtually wore them out then gave them to a mate when I got BluRay. The Pacific just looked to me like a poor clone with a similar, but weaker story:(

This one I like, lots Does poor health limit the availability of jobs and do specific job markets vary from country to country & society to society? The anecdote below shows how Britain is leading the way both in medical research & job creation An Israeli doctor said, 'Medicine in my country is so advanced, we can take a kidney out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in six weeks'. A German doctor said, 'That's nothing! In Germany, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks'. A Russian doctor said, 'In my country medicine is so advanced, we can take half a heart from one p…
