Hello, I got this forks for Tiger Cub, Marzocchi 34 mm, guess on Norton sliders. Modified Cub yokes. Lenght from wheel spindle to top of stanction 28.7 "/730 mm. The bike has original frame. I would need help about changing oil, because i feel them too slow. What type, 5w or 10w, and what volume in each fork? My weight is 154 lb (75 kg). Many thanks!!!

Good Evening All! I just wanted to say a big thank you to every one who felt like they were getting their ‘virtual ears bent’ with my relentless questions regarding bike options. I know I was slightly repetitive at times as I tried every different angle possible to work out what new bike I should buy as I continue on my trials ‘journey’. I appreciate all the advice given and as a result I am now the proud new owner of the 2020 Beta Evo 200 pictured below. I am now looking forward, as Chris CH suggested, to start obsessing about balance rather than bikes and can’t wait to get out on it! Thank you all 😀

Hi after help, relatively new to trials not a lot of knowledge, had the bike a few years and always run well for its age, was riding a few weeks ago and it just stopped, no spark, done the usual tests plug, kill switch bad earth ect but with no results, I've been in contact with a few stator rewinders and they say that the 12 coil stator that is in my model are pretty much bullet proof so would more likely to be the pick up, the CDI box or the voltage regulator, the pickup has been tested by west country Windings and it's ok, so down to it most probably being the CDI box, these apparently are extremely hard to find now, I have also been told that Kokusan do a complete ign…

Hi all, I've just picked up my Sherco ST 300 factory yesterday put it away without having a proper look over it, got it out this morning fired it up and let it sit for a while to warm up, I noticed after a short while that the residue off the combustion was coming out of the welds on the header, surely this should be covered under some kind of warranty? The quality of the welds are pretty shocking as seen in the included photos. Thanks in advance guys & gals!

Good Morning, So I’ve been looking around for an Evo 200, purely because having firmly caught the trials bug I want to upgrade my ‘08 Rev3 250 for something more modern that I can stick with for a year or two and evolve on and everyone seems to think that the Evo 200 is the ‘Holy Grail’ of trials bikes for the novice to progress on. However I have to wonder, if it’s such a brilliant creation, why are none of the other manufacturers making a competing model? The only other 200 2T bike I can see is the Vertigo, which is frankly too expensive at my stage of the game. I’d consider buying new, but to be honest whilst I’m still likely to drop and scratch/otherwise dam…

Evening all, Just trawling the internet looking at new and new/used bikes and getting a bit bewildered (it’s not difficult!) As I am now a seasoned rider (!) of some four months I want to upgrade my bike so I just thought I’d share this and see if anyone has any interesting input. I bought a Rev3 250 to get going and see if I liked it but I’m hooked and I’d like something newer really. I’d also quite like a 4 stroke, no real reason I just like the sound of them and I like the idea of low end low rev grunt, I always liked that in other bikes I’ve had. And hopefully they’re a bit quieter for practicing at home. If I haven’t missed anything, I think that means…

Currently have a 4Rt which I've lost all confidence in brake wise so I'm looking for another brand. I don't want to be fettling all the time but I've no idea what would be a good choice. Budget isn't an issue and I'm excluding GasGas as they are frankly rubbish quality.

Has anyone tried one of the trials bike seats from Butt rest, just wondering if they stay attached. Was going to get a Jitsie one for use on an observers bike but these actually look quite good and seem to fit in a nice high position.

just out of sheer curiosity what are peoples views on 125 and 200cc bikes for grown ups? long and short is that i grew up riding trials and a few years ago came back to it with a beta 270 and now a 2010 sherco 290, although i havnt ridden for 2 years due to all the covid issues. i'm 55, about 12'ish stone (76kg/168lbs) and only out to have fun in local club events, i ride novice. i'm now looking to sell my sherco and trade up to a slightly newer bike, something around 2015. i like the 290 but it is a handful, i was wondering about getting a 250 but lately i've been wondering if a 125 sherco might be a better bike for me, i would say the beta 200 would be perfect …

Hi All, I am wondering if anyone has a workshop manual and wiring diagram for a 2004 Gas Gas TXT Pro 250 ? I have just brought the bike and want to do some upgrades and maintenance on it. I also want to replace the kill switch with a magnet strap one as it currently has a push button kill switch, so any advice and recommendations on the best/easiest one to fit would be a great help . Cheers Luke

We’re all (in Blighty at least) too polite to call out queue jumpers. But it is so annoying. Which queue jumping tactics rile you most (unless you are a queue jumper yourself…). My top three… 1. Get to front of queue and park bike for a quick look at section then casually nip back in. 2. Steam into front of queue to chat to a mate. Then casually nip back in. 3. Pretend bike has an issue. Then casually nip back in. Etc. Etc. It sucks and those who do it 100% know they are doing it (even if casually!!).

Hello, Im new to trials and recently bought a 1997 Beta Techno 250. I realized later that the lower triple tree clamp was broken. Ive been having trouble locating a replacement part. I tried Beta USA and they found a whole triple tree/fork assembly located in Italy but they wont seperate the forks from the triple tree and want quite a bit of money. I was hoping to find something used or possibly even new at a more budget friendly price point. Can anyone point me to a source to find something like this? Parts for these older Betas seem to be getting rare and trials is not very popular here in the US. Im interested in finding out if some other triple clamps might fit my bik…
