Afternoon, I have recently fitted a pair of NOS Betor rear shocks. After moving the circlips up a couple of rings they still feel spongy.... I have tried looking at the website to see what the factory settings would be, gas pressure etc. As a larger chap (100kg) ??‍♂️ Is there a rule of thumb for compression or spring rates etc As a Noooob, again any /all help appreciated Thanks & merry Xmas ??

As I'm about to pick up a 2016 Scorpa ty125 4 stroke, I was wondering how everyone with modern plastic fuel tanks get on with fuel that has 5-10% ethanol, which, in the UK, is the most common type of pump fuel. Or does everyone use specialist fuel like Aspen4T or Stihl4T. Expensive at £20 for 5ltrs. Just worried that plastic tanks and carb seals won't swell up with modern ethanol based fuel.

Hats off to TMX (and JPI Media) for getting back on the presses after such a tough period. Well done and very best of luck in the coming months (and years).

Anyone ever fitted a battery powered brake light to a trials bike that has no other lights fitted? I have an idea how to do it but would appreciate any info.

Hi Everybody. I am thinking about getting a new bike. I am 50 and have no experience with motorcycles but I am a decent mountain biker. I also ussually excelled in other agility sports like snowboarding and kitesurfing. What would you recommend as a first trial bike? I am also wondering whether I could share the bike with my wife. She would only ride it off road without really getting too agressive. I have much more ambitious plans I weight around 162lbs and my wife is about 105lbs.

Anyone out there want to predict how the Trials scene will go next year. I'll go for another year of small low profile Trials.

Hi guys, I'm English and living in Spain, after being here over 15 years I've finally got myself a Spanish trials bike, a 1997 JTX 300 Gas Gas, I think??? but the vin is VTRGG329711960076, which kinda makes me think it's a JTR? it was a bargain with very little use, but I'm beginning to wonder if I've done the right thing though, the tyres are date stamped year 2000, it didn't help being told it was a different year and model to start with, so my research went out the window, then told it was a JTX but with JTR in the vin? and they all look pretty much the same, well to me they do anyway, I'm still having trouble confirming the actual capacity and model reference because …

Hi, I want to adjust my Showa shock rebound, to make it more hoppy. I've set the pre load to 80mm sag as advised by a friend. I can't find instructions online for how to correctly set the re bound. Can anyone point me to a technical document? Or give advice for re bound setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All, I've recently bought some tech forks for my Beta Evo 2020, with S3 yolks. I've managed to installed them fine but can't find any instructions as to the right height for the stanchions in the yolks. There is a ring at the top of each tube, I assume this needs to align with the top of the yolk? Does anyone know? Also, for anyone interested in doing the same upgrade, you need a 9mm thick M20 spacer for the axel (brake caliper side) and x2 5mm thick (ish) spacers for the brake caliper bolts. I made the wheel spacer by buying a 4rt spacer and cutting it down. The beta evo also needs an O ring under the bottom head…

Here are a few hints, tips and suggestions to help keep your machine in good order..... AFTER EACH TRIAL : Block exhaust rear pipe ( bung or clingfilm). Block air entry to air filter ( gaffer tape or clingfilm wrap). Wash machine with garden hose or pressure washer. DO NOT AIM JET DIRECTLY AT WHEEL BEARING SEALS OR BRAKE HUBS, STEERING HEAD OR GEARBOX OUTPUT SHAFT AREA. Clean these areas with a softish bristle brush and soapy water. Dry machine off with low pressure air or absorbent cloth. Before leaving bike in store area, check or maintain the following items: Air filter housing water drain…

Hello everyone! I found a small problem with my bike - the edges of the decals are peeling off. I want to show you how to solve this problem. We will need a degreaser (you can use something like White Spirit) and glue for the fabric in a can. This glue I bought for gluing fabric to the subwoofer-stealth in the car. The peculiarity of this glue is that it is very sticky and sticks even to polyethylene parts. We peel off part of the decals, or even the entire decals. We clean the plastic and the edges of the stickers from di…

Hi, I asked on here a few days ago for advice on a bike for my 18 year old son, I got some excellent help and now know what I want. I’m now looking for 2 bikes. One for me also. The problem I have now is, I don’t know where to look for them. I’ve tried eBay and there doesn’t seem to be many about for what I want. Is there a good website I can look at or anything? thanks
