I've been thinking of buying Ryan Young's Tyre Beader but it never seems so important until you have to turn or change a tyre again. I put a new one on this morning in about 7 or 8 minutes, then it took me nearly an hour to get it back in the bead. Eventually managed it with a ratchet strap and a high power airline when I gave up on trying at home. I'm sure Michelin are making their tyres with a larger diameter these days. I didn't even use a lever to get it back on today, it went on by hand. Seems strange that on a road bike (where you've got nice painted alloys) the tyres can be a real b1tch to get on, but trials bikes (which could stand a bit more aggro) slip on no …

Odd how a few days ago a guy says he's looking for a CCM 350 and today a CCM 350 turns up on the classifieds and CCM 350's are as rare as rocking horse s&*t. Co-incidence? I blame the illuminati!

Got to be a Yamaha of one sort or another........ BUT.........is it the TY175..........TY80....... OR TY250 Mono....... Which sold the most...................my guess it's a TY175 Plus it was the base for specials like the Majesty and Whitehawk Everybody seems to have had one and you still see plenty still going strong after 25 years from new. Why were Yamaha so strong???????? Price? Build Quality? Reliability? Rideability? Sure they weren't the most competitive or radical............but this was part of their success...............certainly the best trial bike for the masses...... closely followed by the TY250 Mono What's your view..........did you have a T…

I'm about to apply for a French FFM comp licence and one of the criteria is that you must supply a doctors certificate, after a medical check up,basically to prove your fit to ride, another sign of insurance paranoia I suppose. Is this an ACU requirement yet I don't remember it being one but things might have changed. Just a question for all the different clubes out their about stolen bikes and problems in genral. I keep seeing things about stolen bikes pop up and it gets me to thinking about my club. The riders that show up to our events tend to come from all walks of life. The one thing they all seem to have in common besides motorcycles is being really great people. You could leave a $100.00 bill on the sign up table and at the end of the day it would still be sitting there. In fact there would probably be more money there because someone though it was for a collection. No one locks their vehicles or trailers during the event and it is not uncommon to have people borrow something d…
