MotorsTV have announced they are moving to Channel 71 on the Freeview Platform. This is a Transmitted channel not the IPTV it was on on channel 240. You will need to retune to pick it up and although it will Transmit 24 hours initially it will go to 20:00-05:00 weekdays and 24 hours on Weekends. Trials is a winner as they transmit Highlights! Looks like you need a HD Freeview TV or Box as well. They seem to be using Spare capacity on the HD Multiplex.

I have a recurring issue with the rear (tubed) tyre becoming partially unseated. There's no problem with getting it to seat initially - a bit of lube, inflate it to 60 or 70 psi and it pops on nicely, all the way around. The problem occurs after I deflate it to my normal pressure (4 psi) and ride it. A section of the bead slips off its seat, about 250mm in length. I can reseat it easily but when I deflate it back to riding pressure and ride the bike it happens again. The rim looks fine, as does the tyre itself - both are fairly new. Suggestions? Superglue and self-tapping screws?

I am thinking about having a go at trials again after a long gap. Used to ride a Converted BSA Batam back in the early 70's ( Unreliable or what !). Got chatting to a guy with a GasGas and got interested again. Do manufacturers have try outs of the various trials bikes. Not sure what to buy ? Steve

Hi everyone. I'm totally new to trials and just bought an old 2007 rev 4T 250 4-stroke. I'm fixing a few things and have a carb question. What carb is in my bike? I want to order a kit as the bowl gasket it weeping. The carb is a mikuni. There is some writing on one side. Looks like 33 79 L691? I did ask chatgp and it reckons it's a mikuni BSR33? But just want to make sure. Thanks Noel

ago Hello all, I’m thinking about buying a second hand trials bike. I think I’m going to go for a Beta rev 3. The rear fender looks like it could be easily damaged, especially with myself riding.New replacement rear fenders seem to be unobtainable for the earlier models. What are people doing when they break their rear fender to replace it if it can’t be repaired? Cheers

Hi there i have a 54 falcon 90 in trials trim. I converted the ignition system to electronic by using a Honda cub flywheel and CDI. This I fitted an additional mass that worked really well with loads of power but no instant get up and go, so was difficult to go over logs. I am putting the original magneto flywheel back on while I have another think. Does anybody know is there an advance curve for a Villiers 8E or is it fixed

First, I apologize if this has been answered. I'm trying to track down a over the counter API GL-4 gear oil for my 21' TXT300. My options are pretty limited to auto parts stores as I've already been to the local dealership. With KTM overseeing the production of GasGas, they only list the motorex brand gear oil in the manual. Nothing against motorex but between the cost of the oil, taxes, shipping, It's almost $40 for a quart of oil. Would this work? It's rated API GL-4 & GL-5 so it meets the criteria. https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/max-gear/oil--chemicals---fluids/maintenance-chemicals/lubricants/gear-oil---additives/75w-90/1e1e9866…
