    Hi all, Sutton Coldfield trials club are holding a trial at Howards wood, near Kidderminster/ stourport. It will be sign posted off A449 Kidderminster to wolverhampton road. Near postcode DY7 5AJ Its a round of the Amca summer championship but if your not an amca licence holder, this is ok, as you can ride as a guest and will be in results as normal. Expert, clubman (50/50) and non expert. Also twin shock and pre 65. Suitable for beginners and youth riders. Start at 11.00am. 4th sept. No licence needed. Just ask if you need to know anything. Tom

Signposted from the Grange Mill / Holly Bush inn crossroads along the B5056 just after the crossroads in the centre of Longcliffe continue straight on under the railway bridge and turn left into the field and the start.   10. Penkridge Trials Club trial. This Sunday June 26th. Opposite Lower Drayton Farm on A449 near Penkridge, Junction 13 of M6 motorway, head towards Penkridge/Wolverhampton. Yellow vests on stakes will be at entrance on right. (not usual entrance) 11am start. Signing on from 9.45. All abilities welcome inc beginners. Observers needed if you're free ?

  11. Its all change for the Sam Cooper Union Jack trial on May 29th, round 3 of the Sammy Miller series. In come 7 new groups , Ians Bank, Brundells, Gadsbys Bank, Shenborough Quarry ,Saddlers, Top Farm and Top of the World in an extended ride round the Cotswold lanes above picturesque Broadway. Shenborough a disused Cotswold Quarry but devoid of big rock steps while Saddlers has long stream bed, unused for 5 years will be the venue for the trials special test to decide tiebreaks. There are 3 routes , Experts , Clubmen and sidecars with the rigid solos having the option to tackle the clubman or sidecar deviations. Riders congregate at the Cotswold Foodstore and Café on the A42…

Don't forget we will be holding round 5 of our club championship tomorrow Sunday at Carsons farm Grange mill near Matlock, Derbyshire signed off the A5012 approx 2 miles past the holly bush inn crossroads. Expert. Classic expert. Intermediate. Classic intremediate. Clubman routes and classes for British bikes, twinshock, air cooled monoshocks, forgotten era and over 50 s on moderns. Basically something for everyone. Been up there today laying out and the course is dry and in great condition. Signed off the B5056 just past the Winster crossroads heading for Youlgrave. Expert, Classic Expert, Intermediate, Classic Intermediate and Clubman routes. Classes for British Bikes, Twinshocks, Air cooled monos, Forgotten era and over 50's on moderns So something for everybody. We are an AMCA club so you dont even need a competition license so youve no reason not to come along and join in the fun. Start time is as usual 11.00am so come along and have some fun in the glorious Derbyshire Peak District.

    Just to make it known that the club will be running an additional non championship class for those eligible for classes 3 to 6 who want to ride route 3 , (easy) , also there will be a club award for the best over 50 on this route who rides a pre unit or twin . the club is making an effort to encourage all who wish to have a gentle day out on a bike in a lovely part of Devon .

    Allan Jefferies Trial 2016 10th July 2016 Just a quick heads up for you to pencil the date in your diaries for this years Allan Jefferies Trophy Trial. Work began on planning and assessing options for this year event way back in August of last year – barely a month after the 2015 event. Nobody can ever accuse those two (old !) stalwarts, Major Injury and General Disdain, of not being keen. At the moment the stats are for a total mileage of approx 28 miles, with 36/38 sections on offer for riders to pit their wits and test their skill set. The currently proposed 28 mile route has drastically reduced the overall roadwork to a mere 4.2 miles – the rest …

For my 50th birthday I'm organising a charity trial at Kidlaw ,East Lothian.It will be the Lothian trials Club first trial of the year.Sunday the 21 st of February 10a.m. for a 10.30 start(have to sort out teams)Being an auld bugger its going to be twinshock and pre 65 event,but don't despair monos and modern bikes are all welcome" Its for Charity". the idea is to make riders of monos/modern have an uneven number and riders of twinshock/pre 65's even numbers, then the numbers will get drawn out of two hats and that would make up your riding partners/team(if 40 modern and 20 twinshock/pre 65 enter that would make teams of 3(2 monos and 1 twinshock/pre 65)).It will be…
