NEW YEARS EVE. 11.00am startShropshire TC are holding the 4th round of this years Winter Championship on New Years eve which falls on a Sunday this year.The venue is Morgans Coppice Farm which is adjacent to the famous hills of Hawkstone Park in Hodnet, Shropshire, postcode (TF9 3LH).With 4 routes on offer including a beginners route, there really is something for everyone. Dont forget this weekend we are running our October trial at Cookes wood, Youlgrave, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire. I dont have a post code for the venue but the nearest i can find is for the Farmyard Inn in the village which is DE45 1UW. If you approach Youlgrave from the Matlock / Bakewell road then continue past the Farmyard Inn right through the village and pass the allotments on your right. Regretably the constant recent downpours have left the parking area at Emmott's unusable - so the trial scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 22 October had had to be cancelled.

Regs are attached for the Bob Owen Memorial Trial to be held on the Saturday of Remembrance Weekend. The specific purpose of the trial is to raise money for charities - so on a weekend normally lacking in motorcycle sport why not join in and do your bit to raise money for people less fortunate than yourself - organised, of course, by the ever friendly Horsforth Club. The Scott Trial. Marske, 21-10-2017 The Scott Trial takes place on 0ctober 21st at Marske. The one hundred year old event is the toughest one day cross country trial in Europe using a course of eighty miles of moorland. The entry list is full with 200 starters. Four recent winners compete. Acorns Mcc are putting on the final round of the Amca summer series. 11.00am start at Knighton, Chetwynd, near postcode ST20 0QY Sign posted off A41 near Newport All classes catered for including beginners. everyone welcome If you've never been to Knighton its a cracking venue with a wooded area that has some good technical stuff with some interesting climbs. Also a stream further down the field with a few rocks and a good long climb back up the field. Plenty of parking and definitely worth a visit. Old established trial - counts towards West Yorks Championship. No road work – all on private land belonging to the Shepherd family at Fellbeck.
