Hi im Mick from west Yorkshire, Ive just got myself a TY175 after not having one for about 10-11 years and ive picked up a TY50 single seat for my 9 year old boy to start out on. Never thought I would get back on a trials as im parlysed bellow the knee both legs and have a cobalt chrome hip. But with the miracle of carbon fibre wrapped around my lower legs and a good pair of boots im going to give it another go because I cant really play football with the boy so ive got to do something to get him outside with me, kids today.

Morning everyone, just bought a Fantic 247 to renovate and compete in North Lancs area trials. They're a lot more technical than my old Montesa, Bultaco's and Ossa's ever seemed to be. Already met Bill Pye who seems to know more than anyone else about these machines. Can anyone direct me to any legal practice areas in North Lancs please. Thanks.

Howdy everybody, Rootsman2 here. I started riding back in the day first on a Suzuki Trail 90 and went on to ride Junior class on a British Penton 125 and wound up on a MAR. Coming back, I bought a 1972 Sherpa T and a Sherco ST 300. Rode 3 events on the Sherco - won them all - but hated the power and clutch so I sold it. Went back to the Bull. Rode an event Sunday and cleaned 18 sections before my arthritis shut me down. Still love the Bull

Hi guys I’ve more or less recovered from a life threatening road accident some ignorant git ran straight into me while I was on my beloved ktm 250 exc , I’ve had 2 stroke ktm and 6 days 4 stroke , raced in cotswold enduro slow pete series also hours and hours of green laning, been a off reader for 8 years, It’s took me 3 years to recover and I have a metal left leg from knee upwards and a titanium shoulder with 50% movement of left arm , so wife said no more bikes or divorce , but surprisingly she is ok with a trails bike as I’ll ever ride on the road again , I am 53 6 foot tall and since accident now way around 16 stone ( can’t wait to ride again as love it but also to g…

Is there anyone out there who might know if it is posible to fit a bigger footrest to the original mountings on a RL 325 Beamish. I have heard that you can fit a kit that requires welding on to the frame but dont want to go down that route yet. It is a 1979/80 model year any ideas welcome.

Hi All, I'm Roger and I'm toying with the idea of getting a trials bike, first things first, I'm just west of Cardiff on the coast, where can I practice? Next questions are probably in this order Which club should I go see/join and do they have practise/training sessions? With a £2000 max what sort of bike should I look for? CC, Make, age etc I'm hoping trials is layed back and friendly on club scene, with advice and tips freely given, does that sound about right? I've been riding since I was 16 and I'm now 52, just thought I'd throw that out there in case it affect the sort of bike I should consider. First things first I guess Where can I ride, if I can't ride …

Looking to get into trials at the very bottom. Tried it back in the 60's when I was in college, entered a local club event on my '66 Ducati Scrambler strret bike. Did terrible of course, but had fun. Now I'm the one who's "in the 60's" and ready to get muddy again. So, looking at a 2001 (or maybe it's a 2002?) Beta 270 to start out with. Cheers,

Hi everyone, Ello here, recently got myself a 02 beta Rev 3 250 that’s in need of a bit of TLC. Luckily it’s mostly cosmetic so it’s gonna be a tinker on the evenings and ride on the weekends project. Anyways, I’m gonna head over to the Beta section and start bugging everyone with questions now

If anyone is in the area, and can help, I'd really appreciate it. I live in Windsor, but I've got a trailer and can travel. Many thanks Steve

Hi all, looking for some serious help here please. my father has been riding trials bikes for a few years(50 odd to be precise) mostly unit Bsa and Bultacos 199A etc. in a bid to have an easier day, less maintenance, lighter bike he would like to move to something newer. not bothered what make at all montesa, sherco, beta, really do not care, what he does struggle with is the speed at which everything happens, hydraulic clutches, brakes that really work, speed/sharpeness of acceleration etc etc. he has borrowed a 2001 montesa 315, works very well and he seems to like it, however it is too quick!!!. some of this we accept we cannot change and it will be perseverance.…

Hello all i am new to this and i'm after some honest opinions of which bike to go for next, i have owned a Montesa 315r for a few years now and find it very good in its reliability & build quality but it is a little too heavy for me to hop around, i am looking to update it now & can't make my mind up on whether to go for a Beta 270 or Gas Gas 280 or 300? I have heard some horror stories of the Gas gas Pro's but thought i'd put it to the real guys who actually use them, any help will be very much appreciated as i don't want to buy a bike which i may regret in months to come. Thanks...
