  1. Started by frontroomautos,

Hello All, i have just joined, I have a broard interest and am reasonably active in various off road disciplines though in a recreational sort of way. I am currently comming to completion of a TLR200 restoration project which has been enjoyable although at times difficult to source parts. I am looking to become more involved in trials but i am especially interested in Long Distance Trials. I appreciate all styles and types of trials but this appeals to me more as it sort of ties in with my interest in Enduro (although i appreciate its loose relation). Thats it for now just my introduction, oh and my front room isnt as bad as my user name suggests.

Well i've taken the plunge and gone and bought myself a 250 sherco and suddenly all those memories have flashed across my brain about dragging bikes out of streams and bruising my ribs on rocks and so on from around thirty years ago that i am now feeling quite apprehensive. Ah well nevermind you only live once!!!!!!

Hello everyone, I'm currently rebuilding a 350 199a and hopefully this forum will prevent me entering therapy for a little while longer. I bought it off e-bay and it looked ok and I was willing to take the risk. I think I've managed to salvage the frame and one bolt! However, the combined expertise of everybody out there may help me to get to the finish. I scrambled in the 70s and 80s but would like to trial the bike when I eventually finish it along with my son who has just got a 125 Gasser. In terms of collections I've got bits everywhere, a GSXR750 Slingshot on the road and I am slowly collecting a 78 RM250 when I come across any bits and pieces. Look forward t…

Hi, I've just bought myself a GAS GAS and I'm looking for places to ride in the Berkshire area. Can anyone help? At the moment I'm using MX tracks - but you can imaging how that is..... If anyone is in the area, and can help, I'd really appreciate it. I live in Windsor, but I've got a trailer and can travel. Many thanks Steve

Hi everyone. I'm Andy. Last time I rode in trials was about 1995, I had an Aprilia Climber - what a reliability nightmare that thing was. Parts were hard to get, and expensive. I've had a break for the last ten years (Although I've wandered along to watch the odd trial near home, and have done quite a bit of trail riding on a Suzuki DRZ400) but I want to get back into trials again! I don't want to spend mega bucks on a bike at first, in case I end up not using it much, so have a budget of around

I have a nice 02 315r lined up (purchased in 03) to buy and 3 acres to practice on and set up obstacles etc 1 thing concerns me though i dont know anybody who rides trials anymore. Is there anyone on here i can practice with around the Stoke-on-Trent/Leek area? was thinking on practicing on my land, whitemore farm, hermitage farm etc... Thanks all Steve

Hi, my names Matt. Went to my first meeting yestersay - with the Blackmore Vale TC. I was well impressed! Seemed like a very nice bunch of people - and the sport in general looks great fun! I have ridden trail/supermoto bikes for a number of years, and my 5 year old son is beginning to get into bikes - and I would like to get into a sport that we can both enjoy together. So I'm thinking that trial riding might be the way forward... Cheers - Matt.

Good evening, Bryan Lee here from Maryland USA. I ride a 1985 Honda TLR 250 as well as a 1981 TL 320 SWM in vintage trials here in America. Looks like an awfully nice site y'all have here, especially all the Honda posts in the brand specific category. Looking forward to hanging around a bit and exchanging info. All the best!
