Getting back into the sport after 15yrs off, had a pinky and a 315 when i was a lad. now ive got the bug again looking for places to ride practice and to meet some like minded folk. . Recently visited Dronfield had an excellent day the venues fantastic ,,didn't take long for me to feel at home on the bike. im hoping to attend the next barnsley trial so hopefully someone might like to show me the ropes as ive only used the bike for fun in the past... venues are getting harder to find so im hoping by joining a club ill get more use from the bike as well as pushing my own abilities riding with people with more experience. Merry Christmas all

Morning all! Last Friday I purchased myself a 2004 Sherco 290! From a local lad down the road @ Bishop. Then spent the weekend riding down near Croft!...Didn't think it was going to be as good as what my mates were making out etc, but absolutely LOVED it! Even compared to Motocross, Fast Cars etc...at least with this their is places you can go no bother, and have a good time with out any hassle from police etc etc! Cant wait for this weekend to be honest, by last Sunday I was already getting a feeling for the bike, getting over my first rock, on and off pallets etc some big hills and a few jumps here and their, GOOD FUN!...first time on a trials bike, apart from my firs…

Hello My name is Mark, I'm 54 years old and have had bikes in one form or another since I was 12 years old. I bought my first Fantic earlier this year and have been out as an observer for trials on a few occasions, but would now like to have a go myself and am keen to find anyone who might have somewhere to practice and would be happy for me to tag along. I live in Kilburn, near Belper, Derbyshire, but I'm happy to do a bit of travelling.

Hi all, Just a heads up that my dad and I have just got into trials again (we had a Gas Gas a fair few years ago that we used to ride over Poles Woods). I've now got myself a nice 2004 Beta Rev 3 270 and my dad is picking up a tidy 07/08 Gas Gas 250 tonight. Expect to see both of us over Poles Woods pretty often as well as some of the Southend/Eastern trials events (after we've both got good enough to not embarrass ourselves). I'll be the young one on the Beta and my dad will be the old bugger on his Gas Gas (sorry dad aha) - if you see us about - come over and say hi My bike:

Hi everyone, I'm new here from southwestern Ontario, Canada! I found the site as I've been restoring a Bultaco M49 Sherpa T that was left to me by my late Uncle I've done many restorations on other things (tractors, lawn equipment, radios and arcade equipment to name a few) but this is my first bike project. I have been given a lot of good information from Facebook groups but I always enjoy making a forum thread so I plan to document my project here, hopefully in the future my info may help someone else 😊. Mikey.

OK I know that I am brand new to this site and I don't know any of you but I am still gonna ask for some help. OK here goes. I did a search for a book my father wrote back in 1976 and it lead me here. (Mick Andrews Book of Trials, By Thomas W Beesley) I know that it is alot to ask but would someone be willing to part with a copy of it? See my father was killed at a race track here in TX called Oak Hill in September of last year. I never knew he had writen a book until my Mom told me about it last week. I have been through all the books that my parents have collected over the years and didn't find a copy. (Mom later told me that he didn't have one, LOL) Look I am willing t…

Hello everyone, after a long break, divorce, house move and recently an operation, I'm getting back into trials my nephew wants to learn so its inspired me to take it up again i now live in Oudenaarde, belgium so if anybody near me knows of any good practice terrains close by that would be great. i know there is Genk and its a really great training site, but its not just half an hour down the road so will wait until he starts getting the hang of it before going over there. i would like to say hello to Guy if you are still on here, been a long time mate, hope you are fine. and hope everyone else is fine too. Hi guys, A quick hello to you all. I came across the site after buying an aprillia 280 climber (1993) and cant find much about them on the web when i saw you have an aprillia forum I'm getting into trials after doing road racing for the last 4 years... little rgv250...won a club championship in 2005 and had a nasty blow up in 2006 leaving me with 23 fractures in the right tib and fib...still got a frame on the leg but hoping to have it removed in the next few months...So seeing as the aprillia has the kickstart on the left..BONUS And from what i can remember when i used to do a bit of off road when a yoof......even at 5mph it can be pretty scary at times …

Hi folks! Been several years since I last had a go at trials, wasn't very good at it, but times ticked by and I've decided to have another go at it. Got a bit more time on my hands for practice now so perhaps might be a bit more successful! Looking for clubs in the South Lakes area.....oh and a bike as well! Nick
