Hi guys, yesterday I had problems with my engine, After a hard crash the bike go tsuck full throttle for about 5 seconds and shut off on its own. The engine wouldnt turn so today I took it apart and found a hole in the block and the piston broken. My question is from where should I buy OEM block / piston and can I convert it from 280 to 300? Hi Guys, what are your opinions on the 2002 Pro? I heard they gave some trouble as it was a new model. Im asking beacuse I saw a one for sale which only ran for about ten hours acording to him. its in mint condition thats why im interested. What do you think? James

cant understand why the forks are made to drop down with only the bike's weight, so you are saying that the bike came out like that? can someone confirm?

what makes you think its broken? it looks like my sherco's spring is broken beacuse it dropps down an inch so to lift the front wheel 2 inches you need to lift 3 inches

hi, is there something to do to keep the forks from dropping down? when it comes to front wheel hopping the bike seems alot heaver than a gasgas with the forks fully extended unlike the sherco which dropps down about an inch.

Hi, just got an 06 sherco and the forks with no rider goes down about an inch, is it supposed to be that way?

about six months ago I bought a 2002 sherco (Im from malta) without seeing it, its a risk but I couldn't find any other way so I payed via paypal and sent the courier to collect. thank god everything went ok. Atm im looking for a KTM enduro bike road registerd to bring to malta but im afraid to risk ~

Hey guys, trying to get trials into my country and my 12 year old cousin is interested, he used to ride a yamaha ty 80. he tried out my sherco 290 Which I saw it was abit too powerfull for him but I down want him to get a 125 and in 2 years he outgrow it beacuse its very difficult to sell it here. Are there any ways to make a gasgas smoother / less powerfull? James

no it doesnt go when i pull the clutch, my friend has an 02 sherco which makes the same sound but not as loud as mine. its kinda annoying until im sure that there wont be more damage if I use the bike

Bought it from abroad and wehn it arrived i noticed that the engine is running rough, clattering. I removed the flywheel cover and checked if the main bearing are worn and yes the flywheel was moving up and down alot.Yesterday I changed the main bearings and oilseals (the old ones were rusty and one of them makes alot of noise when you shake it) s i tought that was the problem, put the engine together and assembeled the bike (gave it water, trans oil etc.. and gave it a kickstart when my heart nearly stopped, the bike still had that annoying and worrying clatter. Anyone has an idea what might be the problem? also the bike came with the exhaust gasket missing, could that be the clatter? Thanks

My cousn's gasgas is slipping abit and im thinking that its burnt, tomorrow I will change the oil and see if it slips. anyone know from where can I get an original clutch online, must ship to malta. Thanks
