after getting my clutch fixed i took the bike out for a run and then one of the forks seized solid. it does move a little while twisting it but it feels very rough, i don't know how im going to get it apart. iv been meaning to change the seals for a while as they were leaking very badly so i suspect the lack of oil is what caused it to seize. does anyone know how ill be able to get it apart. i just hope this hasn't caused any serious damage. Cheers Lewis

it turned out that the springs i had in it were too weak, i put some other ones i had in and its now working much better. i think the springs iv got in it now are maybe off a mx bike. thanks for all your advice.

ye i had the center adjustment set to how it says in the manual, and im pretty sure all the plates are there. so i cant think what else to check the plates looked as though they had a bit of wear left in them. Cheers

I recently purchased a used full clutch kit from ebay as my clutch boss was damaged it all seemed in good condition but now that i have assembled it the clutch is slipping so bad the bike can only just pull away. does anyone know what the problem could be? Cheers Lewis
  7. My clutch is slipping on my 250 mono, and there seems to me no more adjustment i can make so i suspect the clutch friction plates are worn out. i have seen these plates on ebay for £25 about half the price of any others ive seen http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220994976060?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1328wt_1037 does anyone know if they will be any use? Cheers Lewis

I have a early ty 250 mono, the clutch is slipping when i have it adjusted so that it bites where it should, and the only way i can find to stop it slipping is to adjust the cable so it bites very close in which isnt ideal. Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done about this? Cheers Lewis

Hello The previous tire on my Ty 250 mono had a buckle in it, and yesterday i put a new tire on to find it still has a buckle. it is at the rim lock where the tire isn't seated properly. Does anyone know how to sort this? Cheers Lewis
  13. The air filter is clean and it does this when it is hot. Cheers Lewis
  14. Hello I have a ty 250 mono that has a problem when accelerating. When i accelerate it will pull and sound normal and then it will suddenly stop accelerating any further (before the revs get to its max) and start making a strange noise possibly misfiering but im not sure, it makes the same noise when cruizing in lower gears when there is not much load but i think that may be normal. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Cheers Lewis
