  1. For a bashplate, if you want something fancy would imagine D & C Classic Motor Cycles can help you out or re-direct you. Otherwise for the more pure functional try Steve Jones of http://progressiveclassicproducts.co.uk/ , he has been known for a while for the loads of stuff he does for Ajays and Matchless, but seems to have expanded his activities for the good of the classic British-trials-iron enthusiasts.
  2. Well that is exactly why I am asking if anyone knows if there was a differnt in width on the later Bantam hubs? Or what would be the part number that should be on it if I have a correct Bantam hub. I used CWC a couple of times, and they where always spot on if i laced the wheel according to the factory off-sets. Would have assumed when then fitting it in a CUB swingarm and trying to maximize off-set for the chain that I would end-up with too long spokes on one side that would need a minimum of grinding. As they usually are spot on, I rather first check that I truly got the part for what I bought it for. Afterall a hub goes for about
  3. Hello, Can anybody specify the width of a Bantam D14 4 rear hub and/or specify the part number? Had got a hold of a Bantam rear hub to put in my trials Cub, with the idea it is a bit wider/stronger wheel. Ordered all the parts from CWC accordingly, build it up and now spokes are sticking out inside the rim for about 4-5mm... so am a bit baffled what went wrong. Hope someone can tell if my D14 4 hub is not what I bought if for (only have a bunch of Cub part catalogues) and suggestions for solutions? Thank you in advance!

Just rebuild a set of Cub hubs. So have it fairly fresh in mind, but to avoid posting anything wrong had a look in the "Triumph Tiger Cub Bible" as well and apparently that books contains all the wisdom! If only I used it instead of dragging rusty greasy worn bearings around. Front: -Left side: type 6202 - 15mm ID x 35mm OD x 11 mm wide -Right side: type 6203 - 17mm ID x 40mm OD x 12 mm wide Rear: Both the same size: type 6203 - 17mm ID x 40mm OD x 12 mm wide. I went for the sealed ones and since I only plan on using the bike for trials (No greenlaning, so speeds will stay low), I went for budget series, but Stainless steel sealed bearings. Think is going to pay of when using the bike for wading and muddy trials. Good luck with the rebuild!
